Steel Floating Docks and Marinas
- Flotation / The flotation used on our floating steel docks are polyethylene encased Styrofoam. They resist damage from petroleum products as well as marine life and impact.
- Substructure / Our steel truss frames are a heavy duty 12" galvanized carbon steel box truss. Made of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/16" and 3" x 3" x 3/16" angles with 1/2" diagonal placed round rod used inside of truss. Mig welded in a frame jig to hold precise tolerances. Hot - dip galvanized after construction.
- Decking / We offer a variety of choices for docking needs:
- Composite Decking / With a selection of colors, composite decking is perfect for all climates. It absorbs little moisture, does not splinter, and exceeds slip resistant guidelines. - Pressure Treated / Southern yellow pine lumber. Treated lumber using wolmanized process and copper azole to give it long term protection against decay and termite attack. - Concrete / Concrete dock pads enforced with rebar. Sizes include 2' x 2' x 2" and 1' x 3' x 2".
- Roofing / We have a range of colors and styles to choose from:
- Styles include: Hip / which is the angle formed where adjacent sides of a sloping roof meet. Gable / triangular topped roofing systems. Flat of Sundecked / A flat roofing system. May be decked and surrounded by handrails to create a deck on top for sunning. - Roof column material is an 11 ga 2 1/2" galvanized carbon steel tube. Roof height can be up to 24'. - Roof materials consist of galvanized steel purlins, 26 ga steel panels available in numerous colors and multiple wind bracing options.
- Bumper / We offer any type of bumper and cleat.
We offer bumper for post, railing, edge, corner, and caps. You may choose from colors black and white.
- Cleats / We have cleats for marine and residential applications in a variety of styles, sizes, and materials.
- Fasteners / All fasteners are zinc plated to resist corrosions.
- Dock Anchoring / We have 3 types of anchoring to choose from.
- Stiff Arm / This is a triangle or box style 12" truss arm that runs parallel with the dock ramp. Provides a maintenance free way to anchor. - Spud Poles / Mounting brackets placed on ends and edges of dock to hold poles that are sunk into the water bed. Dock simply rides up and down the poles as the water fluctuates. Also maintenance free. - Cable and Winch / Land anchors are set at a 45 degree angle from dock. Winches are mounted on either land anchors or dock and cable runs from dock to land anchors. Winches are to be adjusted as water fluctuates.
Boat Lifts, Drive Ons and Toys
Boat Lifts / All lifts are available in standard, pontoon and tri-toon models. Available for 9' wide to 14' wide.
- Floating Lifts / Designed to accommodate boats from 1,100 - 27,000 pounds. Tanks are made from high density polyethylene tanks. 120 volt / 20 amp with standard 3 prong plug. Also available for personal water craft.
- Vertical Lifts / Designed to work in shallow , deep or fluctuating water conditions. Available for both boats and personal watercraft. 110 volt, 12 volt or manual winch available.
- Cantilever Lift / Ideal for glacial lake areas. Performs best in no fluctuating water depths of water over 2.5 feet and calmer water.
- Hydraulic Lift / Quick, quite operation will lift your boat out of the water in seconds. Hydraulic cylinders are filled with a biodegradable fluid to make the lift enviromentally friendly. 110 volt, 12 volt and solar power. Not available for personal watercraft.
Drive Ons / For personal watercraft or boats. Just drive on to load, roll off to launch.
Water Toys / Fun for the whole family . We offer kayaks, hydrobikes, water slides, swim rafts, behind the boat toys, and many large inflatable toys for land or water.
